The Broken Chain

We little knew that day,
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death, we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you.
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide.
And although we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.

Slick goes out

Slick was a really smart dog. He could open the screen door from the inside or out and he could open the wood door from the inside. Grandma misses you.

Bruce

Today would have been my brother's 43 birthday. So my sister and I are going out to the graves. Miss you Bruce. You were the best brother a girl could ask for.

Good morning!

Accomplishments are always good! Today doesn't look good though! Just kidding. So far I have cleaned my bathrooms, made my bed, did laundry, dishes and worked on my beach body! It's not quite ready, but Hey at least I'm trying!  LOL! Now I will head out and get some yardwork done as soon as I put on my sunscreen. Make the most of your day today! The possibilities are endless and remember to use your imagination!
